The Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth (VFHY) announces its Best Value Request for Proposals (RFP) funding opportunity for research projects. Virginia universities, nonprofit/charitable organizations, government entities and businesses are eligible to submit proposals.

Individual grant awards will not exceed $150,000 per year for projects with a duration of 1-3 years to implement research projects to inform youth tobacco use prevention. This is an online process and organizations may register to apply and read additional details and information by visiting the Grants and Funding section of the VFHY website.

VFHY uses a comprehensive approach by funding research, developing marketing campaigns, and implementing classroom-based programs to prevent and reduce youth tobacco, substance use, and childhood obesity across all of Virginia. Since 2002, VFHY has funded 40 large research projects at universities throughout Virginia.
