Research into Youth Tobacco Use Prevention
The Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth announces its Best Value Request for Proposals (RFP) funding opportunity for research projects. Virginia universities, nonprofit/charitable organizations, government entities, and businesses are eligible to submit proposals for the three-year contract period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024.
Individual grant awards will not exceed $150,000 per year for projects with a duration of 1-3 years to implement research projects studying tobacco use prevention among youth. This is an online process and organizations may register to apply here.

Join us on Dec. 2 for a webinar with presenters from the Truth Initiative who will dive into how youth activists’ have responded to vaping and flavors and covering the upcoming and former National Day of Action that took place last year across the country.
Attendees will also learn ways to engage directly with their youth and young adult base, virtually and in person, to spread education and facts on vaping, ways to take action within their communities, as well as receive access to different tools and resources from Truth Initiative.
