Workshop Description

Initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) or diversity, opportunity, and inclusion (DOI) are a part of the new normal in the workplace; however, where to start and how to keep the work going continue to be a challenge as organizations embrace a DEI/DOI journey. In this session, participants will receive tools and strategies that will help move DEI/DOI initiatives along and achieve successful outcomes.

In this workshop, you will:

  1. Reflect on how DEI/DOI initiatives are important to their organization or team.
  2. Learn of common challenges to implementing strategies.
  3. Tools to overcome implementation challenges.

Workshop Instructor

As a black woman, social worker and healer, led by a value of community, Rachael Randall has committed herself to making space for well-being and transformation of all shapes and sizes. As a consultant at The Spark Mill, Rachael upholds her integrity by supporting people and organizations in collaboratively dreaming of viable futures and embracing structures and policies that maximize impact without burning out. With superpowers in facilitation and community engagement, Rachael is passionate about working with teams, collaboratives, coalitions, movements, and system builders to share ideas, tools, and possibilities.
