Virtual Workshop Description

This workshop will provide the tools required to develop the core presentation skills that are essential for establishing credibility with the audience, as well as communicating information clearly and effectively. Training will include both virtual and in-person techniques and skills.

In this virtual workshop you will

• Learn what to include in an effective presentation and how to organize the information
• Learn how to manage their delivery of the information, including minimizing nervousness, verbal and non-verbal communication, and timing
• Learn how to build rapport with the audience
• Learn best practices regarding use of popular visual aids, including PowerPoint

Virtual Workshop Instructor

Virginia Cooperative Extension helps lead the engagement mission of Virginia Tech and Virginia State University, the commonwealth’s land-grant universities.
