Compendium of Programs

The VFHY Compendium of Tobacco-Use Prevention Programs for Youth includes 17 programs recognized by national, state, and nonprofit organizations as model, promising or effective tobacco-use prevention programs. These programs allow schools, faith-based and other community organizations to help youth under the age of 18 to refrain from or discontinue tobacco use.

The content of the selected programs include information relative to tobacco prevention, tobacco cessation, early tobacco intervention/reduction, substance-use prevention, advocacy, youth empowerment, and social-skills.
